Job Fairs Videos

The Employment Guide held nationwide events to both honor the older worker and also to help older workers find a new job. Our job fair events were held during the National Employ the Older Workers Week, in collaboration with both The AARP Foundation and The Department of Labor. In total, over 30,000 job seekers attended our job fairs and were able to interview at the events, providing an opportunity to test-drive several new career opportunities. We held our job fair at locations that were easy to find and ready to hold a large volume of applicants. The job seekers had the best national employers to choose from, as we aligned ourselves with companies that are older worker friendly. Also, many of the cities provided additional perks, such as the Phoenix job fair, where they held a computer workshop that taught job seekers how to use the Internet to find an online opportunity.
