Flying 70 CRJ-200 regional jets as US Airways Express, AWAC brings passengers from their hometowns large and small to hubs that provide them with a gateway to countless travel destinations. Additionally, AWAC is a ground handler for United Airlines in United's Washington Dulles International hub and 20 other cities throughout the country, as well as in eight cities for Northwest Airlines.

With service to approximately 70 cities throughout North America , we carry an estimated 6 million passengers a year.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure operational integrity on a shift-by-shift basis.


• Responsible for passenger protection during irregular operations.


• Supervises all Station Operations Center Supervisors and agents.


• Ensures compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, company policy and procedures, and the collective bargaining agreements.


• Maintains station operational reports and statistics.


• Maintains pass down activity log for next shift. Ensures appropriate follow through on issues that develop during their shift.


• Actively participates in ramp and gate operations during irregular operations.


• Ensures effective communication between Station Operations Center and the Flying Partner groups, to include Dispatch, Crew Scheduling and station management.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of Customer Service / Operations functions.


• Prior experience in customer service/operations position.


• Previous supervisory experience preferred.


• Strong communication and leadership skills.


• Valid driver's license.
